Review of Ocean's Eight (2018) by Another V — 18 Aug 2018

We liked the previous Ocean's movies so we went to see this one. We liked this one too.

I cringed when Debbie said this is for all those 8 year old girls who want to be criminals, or something like that.

There's a revenge theme in this, which I also recall being in a previous Ocean's movie. There may be a double standard in me that I wasn't previously aware of. Why does revenge seem ok when a guy goes for it but outright wrong when a woman goes for it? Things to think about.

This one not for kids. There's a little bdsm here.

Overall a fun plot with a few twists and a variety of distinctive personalities. Dynamics between Debbie and Lou interesting. Are they or aren't they? I couldn't say for sure. I asked my teen his favorite character: Daphne.
