Ronnie Barnhardt is a man with a dream. His primary ambition is to become a police officer. Until that day comes, he serves as a mall cop. His mall has been plagued with a robber as well as a serial flasher. Ronnie hopes to solve these cases to prove to the police academy that they should enroll him.

Jody Hill, director of The Foot Fist Way and the upcoming L.A.P.I, delivers Observe and Report. The storyline for this picture is unimaginative and a bit predictable. The comedic content is well presented but the script was uneven and inconsistent. The acting is okay and the cast includes Seth Rogen, Ray Liotta, Anna Faris, and Michael Pena.

Observe and Report is a film that grabbed me and my wife?s attention when the previews first aired. We have been a fan of Anna Faris for some time and we thought this movie had to the potential to be hilarious when Rogen mixed with Faris; unfortunately, this film did not evolve as we hoped and the content became awkward at the end. Overall, there is a few scenes and lines worth catching but this is a below average movie.
