It doesn't avoid sensitive issues in any way, it will likely offend more than it will cause laughter. Seth Rogen is funny as Ronnie, and it does have a few funny moments of vulgarity or physical violence.
Overall it is moderately enjoyable, based upon how you interpret the jokes/dark humor.
