Review of Observe and Report (2009) by Scot C — 09 Oct 2010

I was expecting the worst before pushing play. I was surprised to find out that it actually was somewhat entertaining . Hey, I mean Seth Rogen and Ray Liotta play themselves as usual, but it works for this film. It's a comedy that takes a surprisingly dark angle, which seems almost out of nowhere. I dont think it was as effective as originally intended, because it seemed unbalanced. The plot wasnt incredibly strong, but I guess some flashers can be hard to catch, and in the process some mall cop wants to be a hero by catching one. I also thought that the overly used cussing was unnecessary. It has its very enjoyable moments, so if you're in the mood, watch it.
