Review of Observe and Report (2009) by Anthony V — 09 Dec 2010
Having known many individuals who fit into security guard Ronnie Barnhardt's mold, I couldn't help but give some uncomfortable laughs, but as the story progressed I found myself more and more laughing with, instead of at, realizing I too had many of the same delusions.
It probes extremely dark and deep, an uncomfortable place for a comedy to go, which is why this will be either a film you love or a film you hate. Me? I'm a sucker for dark comedies.
