Review of Observe and Report (2009) by Brendan N — 26 Apr 2012
A tonally awkward hybrid of Paul Blart and Taxi Driver. There are huge laughs here and there, but the overall nasty tone leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Seth Rogen gives a great performance, making you feel sorry for him, feel scared of him, and sometimes root for him.
More disturbing than funny, but still entertaining to watch once.
