Not bad, but after a great opening the script refuses to do anything original. The very promising first hour gets dragged down by an inconsistent second half, that plays like a mish-mash of 2001 space odyssey, 2010, Prometheus, The Matrix, Independence day, Dune and other (and better) Science-Fiction films.
It is frustrating to see a movie with such potential turned into easy box-office schlock, easy to digest to make a quick buck from the audience. They should have come up with something better.
