Tom Cruise gives his best performance in years in this visual feast for the eyes, and, despite critical opinion, interesting and exciting plot for the brain. What I liked best about this film was how it took its time setting up the plot.
As a result, the emphasis is placed more on character development as opposed to the action. A very fine film, indeed!
