Visually stunning with an artful and thoughtfully designed world. It's far from perfect, but the big concepts it plays with (even if they sometimes exceed its grasp) set it above the usual mindless action movie as a proper bona fide science fiction story.
Flawed gem. Well worth watching for fans of classic science fiction.
