Review of Oblivion (2013) by Ken S — 16 Feb 2015
Tom Cruise stars in his latest action man vehicle, this time a solid post-apocalyptic sci-fi action flick, with some great visuals, decent performances, and a few good ideas. The movie was enjoyable to watch, it never felt too silly or dumb, and it didn't got bogged down with it's action scenes.
The movie works for an enjoyable sci-fi action movie that tries some ideas, even if it is pretty forgettable long term. Not anything anyone will remember in 5 years, but a solid big budget sci-fi/action movie that isn't totally dumb.
