Review of Oblivion (2013) by Lewis W — 18 Feb 2014

I just have to leave a review for this film. I want to start off by saying smart sci-fi flicks are my mainstay. I enjoy finding plot holes to weather test the movie. I watch a movie like Gravity or Pacific Rim and although they are enjoyable, the science of the film is so outrageous there's no longevity there for me.

Oblivion is the type of movie that I feel covered all bases of the plot line and left it open to interpretation in all the right places. An absolutely groundbreaking movie put together in exactly the right sequence.

I think most people were turned off by the ending, but that made me love the movie even more. I can't get into it without spoiling it. But REALLY watch this movie, watch it 4 times, 5 times. When you fully understand the implication of the storyline, it's breathtaking.

This movie is so good it drives me nuts that so few people 'get' it. This movie is beyond brilliant and creates implications to the unseen storyline that will set your imagination on fire. DO NOT MISS THIS MOVIE!!
