Review of Oblivion (2013) by Jim S — 15 Feb 2014
After careful consideration, I think I liked this film. It has eye-popping visuals, some really fine acting (I especially liked Melissa Leo as "Sally"), but unfortunately it has a pretty weak script and less than spectacular direction.
It's a shame that great special effects don't make a great film. Oh yeah...did I mention that I'm NOT a Tom Cruise fan?
