Lindsay Andersons bizarre and strange satirical musical journey through the mishaps and adventures of ambitious and greedy coffee salesman Mick Travis(McDowell) that manages to be both darkly funny and eerily confusing in a decidedly british way, with its odd, disjointed storytelling and multi-layered meta-plot.
Takes a few viewings to really get to grips with it, but is without a doubt a unique, original and fascinating movie worth catching.
