My dad's been telling me to see this movie for years, and I finally got a copy of it on saturday for 50 cents. Damn was this good. a highly imaginative retelling of Homer's "The Odyssey" set in 1930's Mississippi.
The scene with the Cyclops was undoubtedly my favorite. Add a great soundtrack, and a great cast. this movie is solid gold.
