Review of O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000) by Rick Q — 06 Apr 2012
"o brother, where art thou?" is a much more light hearted film than the coen brothers are use to directing. the humor isn't really dark, but rather quirky with a little bit of slap shtick.
george clooney, john turturro, and tim blake nelson have great comedic timing and their deliveries are brilliant. the characters are often a little too stupid, but the coens make it work. the cinematography is stunningly gorgeous.
all movies wish they could look this good.
