Review of O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000) by Abdulaziz A — 03 Dec 2013
The story of three escaped convicts who overcome their pride and shortcomings is more than just easy to watch. The Coens create such a natural, lighthearted atmosphere that the film begins to seem less like a reincarnation of The Odyssey and more like a real life comedy-filled, yet ambiguously critical adventure of lost innocence and the salt-ridden everymen of America.
