Review of O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000) by Garrett ! — 24 Jul 2010
O Brother, Where Art Thou? is supposedly based on Homer's Odyssey, but aside from a few loose references, there's not really a whole lot of similarities between the works. Regardless, there's a special place for this oddball movie which defies much genre convention.
The ending is disjointed and weird, but otherwise I really enjoyed the fine craftsmanship onscreen.
