Review of O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000) by Ian S — 19 Mar 2011
I just can't get enough of the Coen Brothers and their movies. O Brother, Where Art Thou? is a favorite for me and my family. It's a retelling of Homer's "The Odyssey". Boy is it funny.
George Clooney plays a fast-talking man on a mission to get the treasure. His cohorts, played by John Turturro and Tim Blake Nelson, join him because they are joined at the ankle (by chains). I just love how lovably dumb these characters are.
They're not horribly dumb, but they still could use some help when it comes to making some decisions. "I'm a Dapper Dan man!".
