Review of O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000) by David R — 26 Mar 2012
A very clever film, brilliantly adapting a goodly number of the episodes of the Odyssey to the Depression-era South. The characters are very vivid and the acting is very good. For several of the actors, I feel this film features their best performances, such as with John Turturro, who normally is just the same annoying character in everything.
The music is also quite fun-- every time I watch this I get "A Man of Constant Sorrow" stuck in my head for days.
