Ummm... although this remaking of Othello makes the story more acessible to people, I do think that some of shakespeare's greatness is lost a bit... there is less focus on the fact that Odin is Black than on the fact that he is the best basketball player, and in Othello his being black was important.
..I think more character building could have been done, but otherwise for kids who don't really get how othello could go so far, this puts it in perspective and in terms that they can understand. fairly good!
