Nutty Professor 2 would have been funnier if they went for the full-out R rating, but Eddie Murphy still does a great job in the leading role and provides outrageous comedy as the nearly annoying Buddy Love.
This is one comedy that doesn't top the original, but adds on, not repeating or recycling the same story, making it original.
