Review of Nurse Betty (2000) by Charles S — 23 May 2008
What to say about a film that is difficult to dissect due to its sheer lunacy and its inability to adhere to some kind of reality. Despite a far fetched premise, sloppy logic, and melodramatic performances (yes even Morgan Freeman), it was a compulsive watch.
I haven't cringed and been enthralled with a film like this in a while, even though it was sloppy and its point was jumbled within its style. Not recommended, yes I would say if you want to watch it you won't be sorry.
