Review of Nuns on the Run (1990) by James G — 14 Sep 2007
Enjoyable, entertaining update of the traditional British comedy caper flick, notable for Janet Suzman's Mother Superior and a Monroe-like turn from a young Camille Coduri. Like Cleese's A Fish Called Wanda this gives the Ealing style comedy a modern transatlantic twist but it's more modest and less brash which gives it an endearingly quaint charm.
