Review of Nuns on the Run (1990) by Kevin S — 12 Oct 2014
Brian and Charlie work for a gangster and when they decide to go straight and keep their bosses money they get chased by two dangerous gangs and thats when they enter a convent and dress up as nuns to hide from them.
You get quite a few laughs between Eric Idle and Robie Coltrane. This is a funny movie even though I think the acting ain't quite that great in some areas. The whole idea of them trying to be nuns and act like women was a fun idea and really comical at times.
Not to mention it was acted out well by two guys who can prove they are really funny. This is worth the watch if you have not seen it yet. It proves you dont need a bunch of big star actors to make a great comedy.
