The longest and I thought best developed of the highly commended animated shorts that showed with the 2011 Oscar nominated shorts this year. I liked the texture of the computer animation in this Australian short.
Nullharbor is a long stretch of barren roadway through the outback. Two drivers, a young man and an old man, get on each others' nerves. The younger man is on edge because he is craving a cigarette.
In a kind of Wile E. Coyote and Roadrunner fashion, the younger man pursues getting a cigarette and showing that his hot rod is faster than the older man's jalopy. Plenty of adult humor.
