Nowhere Boy (2010), 4/5 stars. This is a fascinating movie about the early, formative years of John Lennon and his emotional ups and downs relationship with his Mother and the unemotional Aunt that raised him.
Julia, John's Mother, was too young, wild, and carefree to raise John. Beware this is not a movie about the Beatles, although it does show John and Paul meeting for the first time and then forming a band.
Good performances by the stars and a good script.
