Review of Nowhere Boy (2009) by Ana D — 17 Nov 2010
It was very hard to imagine 15 year old John Lennon, portrayed in the film by Aaron Johnson, was such a bad boy. Apparently, he was beset by the many unanswered and bleak mysteries about his real mother earnestly played by Anne-Marie Duff and that the truth which was later uncovered by his Aunt, wonderfully played by Kristin Scott Thomas.
This biopic of John Lennon's early life depicted his early 1955 life experiences, with his struggles to become famous and his association with his close friend, Paul McCartney, played by Thomas Brodie Sangster.
This view of John Lennon's early, turbulent life seems to never end, but his determination to become one of the greatest rock bands and song writers of the century is now history.
