Review of Nowhere Boy (2009) by Natália C — 03 Jan 2011
Disappointing. I thought it would touch me un-nervingly giving me insight unto one of the masterminds of freelove, John Lennon. A person that bought abt hrs of shared and personal joy to me and many many millions of the era and time after as part of the fab four 'the beatles'. As with many a true account of 'stardom musicians' these are not gods or demi-gods amunst us, there just stuggling relate-to-able people that harmoniously unite sound and feelings in song. The inspirations and thier side life of 'self gratification' 'drug abuse' or prior hardships is interesting to no end of followers but real people with real problems they turn out to be. This is one of those cases that a series of growing up set of events transforms a young adult into what we like to asume they have/had become.
Covering only a few highly impacting years in Johns life, these agreed upon set of events portrays a young man establishing himself as a bigger lad than peers in a musical enviroment enevitably forming the greatest sounding pop/rock group of all time.
