Review of Nowhere Boy (2009) by Kevin L — 26 Jan 2011
This isn't another Beatles movie. It is a story of John Lennon's life before The Beatles. I think it was very well done and I learned a few things that I hadn't known before. I realize that some of it is fictionalized in order to entertain, but a lot of it is right on the money.
Being a Lennon fan, I have read quite a bit on his life. His relationship with his mother and his aunt. All of which greatly influenced his writing, especially in the years leading up to his death and after The Beatles Even if you are not a big Beatles or John Lennon fan you can enjoy this movie.
There is a lot of emotions involves. I give this my,"worth a look" rating.
