Review of Nowhere Boy (2009) by Thomas F — 31 Jan 2011
Aaron Johnson is amazing in this, the best parts is when he is with his mate Paul McCartney, his eyes beam in that he knows this dude Paul is one talented bloke.
That said this is is moving film, dealing mostly with John Lennon's adolescence and his auntie Mimi and his twisted relationship with his mother Julia. I was always a Stones fan in my youth but this movie opened my eyes as to how important The Beatles formation was to the developing counter culture of the 60's.
