Buoyed by an unexpectedly strong cast, the fact I found this film's simple relationships so surprisingly moving is all the more notable considering I'm one of 42 known and registered non-Beatles fans on the planet.
Resists the easy desire to turn John Lennon into some kind of icon or hero by focusing on his basic struggles.
