Review of Nowhere Boy (2009) by Martin M — 29 Jul 2011
I actually really enjoyed this film. Focusing on Lennon's background and the history that helped make him and his music what it was is his relationship with his mother and aunt, the two most influential women in his life.
Aaron Johnson is OUTSTANDING as Lennon, and as aunt Mimi, Kristin Scott Thomas is superb. I also thought Sam Taylor Wood's directorial debut was exceptional, as I loved the aspects of this film. B.
