Review of Now You See Me (2013) by Meredith W — 19 Apr 2014
"Now You See Me" is as good as everyone says. It is an intelligent and entertaining film that keeps your interest with every trick. Four street magicians (Jesse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher, Woody Harrelson and Dave Franco) are summoned by Tarot cards to a common location by millionaire Arthur Tressler (Michael Caine).
They go on to become the world's greatest stage magicians while performing crime. They are followed by FBI Dylan (Mark Ruffalo), while Thaddeus Bradley (Morgan Freeman) is set upon exposing their seemingly impossible tricks on the Internet.
The result is a great crime caper film of the "Oceans Eleven" type.
