Fun enough on an entirely superficial level. lots of flares and explosions and aha moments, however artificially constructed. the most infuriating thing was that it wasn't trying at all, relying on the ignorance of its audience, ironically, not unlike magic tricks themselves.

everyone from the actors to the writers were just coasting through on autopilot, hoping that they could get by on their names and the film's visual wow-factor. and of course, the ending, which was a horrendous cop-out.
