Obviouly, a film like this needs a surprising and unexpected end. and, honestly, I didn't see it coming. nevertheless, I was underwhelmed by it. maybe this is due to the characters' motivations, which are at no point convincing, maybe it is due to the film's overall plot, which despite some fairly cool effects and a reasonable dose of action failed to grab my full attention.
