The screenplay is inconsistent, with a lot of problems. But that wasn't important, their porpouse was to astonish the people and what's better that some magic? yeah let's write a story based on some badass magicians who use some random tricks to win against power and steal money.
And to make it possible let's use all the visual effects we can afford! Yes good job, you amazed me.
