Really just a missable film, the buildup almost works but the reveal at the end will just make you angry that you wasted your time. The ending might be the biggest cop-out I have seen this year, it completely negates the gravity of the film with this unforseeable, stupid, lazy twist.
The acting is convincing except for Jesse Eisenberg doesn't really work as a charismatic magician.
