Review of Now You See Me (2013) by Vahn — 05 Jan 2020

Not gonna lie, the movie was boring me to tears: the entire story seemed pretty meh, the idea of having to follow the police going after the group of magicians after their heists seemed pretty bland to me, especially when I would have wanted to see it from the villain's perspective. I was honestly going to quit it halfway through but I'm glad I didn't stop: the twist ending was well worth the wait and made me appreciate the entire plot more than I thought. Sure the overall story was nothing special, but in the end, it felt it was all on purpose and the ending was completely fit in my opinion.

Overall, it's a good movie, but I wished the main protagonists were more likable. It's hard to follow them sometimes.
