Review of Now You See Me 2 (2016) by William F — 20 Jul 2016
Going into this film, I had no previous history with these films, as I'd never seen the original film at the time, and was thus unaware of what to expect. What I got, in the end, was a standard film that focuses more on the visuals that it does story and character development.
But then again, the film's intention is to focus more on the visuals than it is making a great story, and so manages to succeed as such in a way. However, because of this, the film does suffer from a bit of lack in interest.
It's a film that doesn't feel as though it needs to exist, and is thus seen as pointless. If you're just looking for some impressive fun visuals, then this will suit quite nicely. However, if you're looking for greater things, you might want to look elsewhere.
This film comes out as merely an average experience at best.
