When I heard that there was going to be sequel to now you see me my reaction was "why in gods name would they make a sequel to a movie that doesn't need one this can only lead to bad things".
Man was I wrong. This movie answer all the questions that I had from the first. Plus I actually did what I wanted the first film to do, focus on the horseman more. Plus add an interesting obstacle for them to overcome.
Also the Morgan Freeman character was explored more in this film. Add some great magic tricks and you got a great film.
