Review of Now You See Me 2 (2016) by Joshua B — 04 Aug 2016
The movie already had set up huge expectations since the production of it began. Sadly, it fell very short of what it should've carried on. There were some wonderful fighting scenes throughout the movie, in fact more action than the predecessor. There was also more humor to the movie, thanks to the introduction of Lizzy Caplan and the terrific acting by Woody Harrison.
Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Morgan Freeman and Dave Franco did a job which was as good as the first part, and definitely was enjoyable. The acting was so good that the audience, and especially me, did not miss Isla Fisher one bit. The horrible disappoint was the awful display of Daniel Radcliffe and Michael Caine. The roles they played definitely did not suit them AT ALL.
Throughout the movie there was one scene which amazed me and the audience, otherwise the movie was just awful display of it predecessor. It's sad to see movies with a wonderful cast line up not live up to its expectations.
