Review of Now and Then (1995) by Robert T — 12 Jan 2008
An interesting film that explored the subject of friendship. Though I'm not a huge fan of chick flicks, but this one was fun to watch, to an extent. The cast was excellent, especially the four young girls in the film.
Honestly, I enjoyed their performances over the four adult women. The film started out kind of slow, but when the film transitioned to the flashback scenes, it began to be more interesting. Though there were some long and boring moments, the film was still entertaining.
But I have to honest, some of the young girls didn't even look like themselves when they were older, especially the Christina Ricci to Rosie O'Donnell character. But overall, a fun film for all genders.
