Review of Now and Then (1995) by Michelle C — 30 Nov 2007
This movie goes down in Mego history of fav's forever, basically just because it's a special one between me and my friends. I don't think it's corny or girly at all really, it's about 4 best friends growing up one summer in the 70's.
My friends and I always used to pretend we were one of the chicks, because I believe we all have a friend like Teeny or Roberta or Sam or Chrissy. It's a funny movie. It also has some rockin quotes about life and making that shitty transfer from child to adult.
I thought the child actors were matched perfectly with the adult actors (except christina ricci growing up to be rosie o'donnell--who friggin made that call?).
