Review of Novocaine (2001) by Ginger Lynn Maria — 28 Aug 2008
Steve Martin calls this a "thriller with wit." That about sums it up. It's his only thriller, and Martin does very well here. This might be Top 5 Martin for me. The movie is truly and thoroughly unpredictable, and it's wickedly funny, dark, and super-clever.
All the actors are great, and the directing is extremely interesting. I liked just about everything about this.
