When a film compells me to watch it despite admitted prejudice against the Catholic Church, not to mention my disdain of mind - control techniques of young people - When the inner life of characters I can't even imagine being - in this case Nuns - is portrayed with both vividness and sincerety.
When the message transcends expected outcomes - Then it doesn't get better. Exceptional.
