Review of Notting Hill (1999) by Anthony R — 17 Oct 2013
My review on Notting Hill.
This is an amazing film and a great display of how cinematography should be.
A massively famous actress from Beverly Hills falls in love with a ordinary book shop owner from Notting Hill, what could go wrong?
Notting hill portrays love as a classic "love at first sight" and it's a story of what everyone looks for, and that is true love.
Julia Roberts has done it again with her amazing romantic films, even know this films she did not win an award, she won one for her portrayal of playing a prostitute in 1990s biggest film "pretty woman" which is probably one of the biggest romantic-comedy films.
Hugh grant has also own awards for his many romantic films,.
These two went very well together and they will always be the two most famous romantic-comedy stars.
Also of course great soundtrack from Ronan Keating.
I would rate this film 9/10. Probably one of the best romantic-comedies I've seen, it is another great film by Director Richard Curtis which is responsible for famous romantic comedies such as: Love Actually and about time and also for other films such as Mr. bean.
