Review of Nothing Like the Holidays (2008) by Angel D — 10 Aug 2009
Feel-good movie about a disfunctional family and how they come together (despite their wishes) to celebrate the Christmas holidays. Each member of the family comes with a story and a burden, and all their stories intertwine in a heart-warming and sweet movie.
Nothing original, and it does feel as though it's a movie we've all seen before with different actors. The perfromances as are good as the actor behind them and they all do excellently since none of them had much of a difficult role. See it to be entertained and feel jolly. The pace could be faster and it can't be really classified as "comedy", but it's a decent family movie. Don't expect anything more out of it.
