Review of Nothing But the Truth (2008) by David L — 26 Jan 2009
Not one of Lurie's better films. The acting is not terrible but it's not great either, which is surprising because I like Matt Dillon, Beckinsale..etc. Alda is the only one who shines. The story was good and engaging because it is so relevant to what happened with Plume, but the movie got cheesier and way too long as time passed.
..and eventualy I wanted it to be over. The ending was totally queer, and makes the movie not make sense.
