Review of Nothing But the Truth (2008) by Ray P — 11 May 2009
News reporter refuses to give up a source that outed a CIA agent and is imprisoned in violation of national security. Excellent performances by all & a gritty, intelligent drama.
The always reliable Vera Farmiga and Alan Alda shine in this - but it's Kate Beckinsale that impresses most in the lead and the best dramatic performance she's ever given.
The real crime is that the production company ran out money and did not promote this film late last year - depriving it of multiple-award consideration and a film the public really needed to see.
