Review of Nothing But the Truth (2008) by Marnie Z — 19 May 2009
I was glad that we found out who her original source was at the end. I questioned her choices throughout the movie. I thought the prosecutor made a good point towards the end when he said that a woman was dead, a child without a mother, her family torn apart - for what? So she could win a Pullitzer? Was she so naive that she was unaware of the effects her story would have before she published it? Obviously she's a very strong woman who stood for her beliefs and I do believe that sources should not have to be named but I think in this case perhaps she should have done so.
